Not for the first time, but today we received a call from a customer enquiring about gold that had been burgled from their house. This is something that we need to deal with at times. What was explained to this customer is that we have many security measures in place to prevent stolen items being sent to us. Firstly we work with the Police all over the country and provide any information that they need if they are investigating a stolen gold case. We also request certain documents from particular customer, if a payment is for a high value, or if a customer continues to send gold. Many of our customers appreciate the procedures that we have in place to make sure that our service is being used correctly. We understand that it must be horrible if items have been taken from you and this is something that we will always do our best to stop.
